Welcome to what I hope will be the first of many "BOOK BLOGS" on my site. Several years ago I ran Murphy's Rainbow as a bi-weekly serial on line. At the time I came up with the idea of writing BLOGS to go along with each issue. Earlier this year I decided to post the issues and the BLOGS on my website. They proved so popular and so much fun to do that I decided to do the other two books in the Cheyenne Trilogy and to post them all here as a permanent feature for folks who buy Murphy's Rainbow, Shadows in the Wind and/or Willow Creek. Since many chapters were split in half in the serial, I decided to arrange them chapter by chapter to facilitate readers finding the proper BLOG. For that reason you will frequently find two BLOGS per chapter.

Murphy's Rainbow and Shadows in the Wind have been reissued and are available through Whiskey Creek Press or Fictionwise. Willow Creek is currently appearing on this site as a weekly serial. You will be able to read a new chapter or portion of one and the BLOG that goes with it every week.

All three books have been extensively rewritten. You can follow along if you already own the originals that were published in the early 1990's, or buy them used at Amazon.com or at you favorite used book store. However, you may find some of the BLOGS a bit incomprehensible especially in Murphy's Rainbow and Shadows in the Wind. Many deleted scenes have been restored and other have been completely redone. My writing has improved greatly over the years and the new editions show it. Still, the basis of the books are still the same. So whatever edition you have, grab your book and join me for an adventure in the old West...
